To get from a point to another in Barcelona, it is advised to take the metro because there are many stations located a bit everywhere in the city.
If you are an architecture lover lost in the city center whereas you want to visit the Parc Guell, it is better to take the bus 24. It leaves the bus stop of Paral-lel (in front of el Molino) and drives down the streets of Paseo de Gracia where you can see (through the windows and sitting on a seat) and admire buildings such as la “Pedrera” or la Casa Batlló for instance.
On the Diagonal Avenue, there is often a traffic jam so in order to avoid it, you´d better jump in the Tramway (TranVía) which is not that fast but when everyone is stopped next to you it is good to move even if it is slow.
You might have guessed that getting a taxi is a lot more expensive than the other way to move in the city nevertheless, most of the drivers are honest and are not used to steal the foreigners.
There is an “Aerobus” which goes to the airport every 10 minutes. The stops to catch that bus are: Plaza Espanya, Gran Via/Urgel, Plaza Universidad and Plaza Catalunya.
