The 2010 Boat Show will take place in two venues: the Gran Via exhibition centre, which will house the majority of exhibitors, and Port Vell, which will provide the setting for the On-Water Show featuring large boats, including super yachts.
One of the top three boat shows in Europe is back. The Boat Show is back. The two venue, will be showcasing all the products from the big shipbuilders and the leading nautical companies. With 5 specific thematic areas and more of 100 activities divided in different areas: Innovation Area, the Fun Beach Area, Traditional Marina, The Fishermen's Area, didactic activities, the Espai del Mar (Sea Space) and I+D+i, among others.
Contributing to an increase in boat sales and capturing new users are two of the main objectives of the Barcelona International Boat Show. In the context of a crisis which also affects the sector, the show will promote new initiatives and will bear the slogan "a sea of opportunities".
