The goal of the BCN Design Festival is to make the Catalan capital, one of the most important capital city in the world for Design. This festival was born thanks to the FAD and the BCD (2 Design Schools) where the different events will be organized between the 28th of June and the 21st of October 2011.
The people in charge of setting up the whole project have a financial support offered by the Town Hall. The participation of more than 75.000 people is expected. Among them, there are students and Design professionals expected but the festival is opened to all the people interested in the field of Fashion, Indoor Architecture (Outdoor as well), Graphic and Industrial Design.
There are more than 50 activities scheduled for this festival and the three most important are: the first edition of the FADfest, the FADExpo and the 6th edition of the BCN Design Week.
