Cirque du Soleil is coming back to Barcelona. This time with a show named “Corteo” that has been on stage since 2005. It will take place from the 20th of January to the 12th of February.

“Corteo” was created and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca and the main character is a clown who imagines a whole new and colorful world between heaven and earth.

The show has been played in 35 different cities around the world and Barcelona will be one of the privileged cities in Spain where they are going to performance. The show will take place at Forum Park and will run until February 12th.

Once again,  "The Brandery" returns in its Winter edition to the Fira de Barcelona. The event will be held from 27 until 29 January 2012.

The Brandery is the meeting ponit of all professionals in the fashion's world and is the place to expose ideas, trends, designs and business models. The site that hosts this prestigious event will be the Fira de Barcelona and it is located on Avenida María Cristina(Montjuic).

The proposal was launched by Barcelona Tourism and this year has reached its second edition adding 20% more operators who want to participate in the Opportunity Week. 

We are at the begining of January but a lot of people are already thinking about the 14 of February and what to do on that special day. It is true that for many, this day is a very important date, and for others it is just another day, but you can not deny that we all know Valentin's day and the atmosphere surrounding the date.

At the international event,  will attend around 400 exhibitors from the digital printing market and the most important covering topics of the event are: digital printing systems for large format ink, substrate, prepress, software, workflow and others.

The Congress for the Professional Search Engine will take place at the World Trade Center and will bring together leading figures and international gurus from big companies.

On Sunday March 25 will be held the 34th edition of the Barcelona Marathon 2012.

This year the Barcelona Marathon is back in its 34th edition, one of the most famous races held in the city.
 
The race will begin in Avenida María Cristina at 8:30 am. The tour will have a distance of 42.195 km and is certified by the Catalan Federation of Athletics. Last year, 15,134 people participated and this year we expect an even greater amount of participants.

Alimentaria 2012, the International Food and Drinks Exhibition is one of the most importants events in Spain and one of the most renowned in the world.  

Alimentaria 2012 will be held in Barcelona and will be from the 26th to 29th March in the Gran Via's Hall de Fira de Barcelona located in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. 

The Formula 1 Grand Prix in Barcelona will be held on 11,12 and 13 May 2012 in the town of Montmelo (located 20 km to the northeast of the downtown of Barcelona).

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are touring Europe and releasing a new album.

The European dates run from the middle of May until end of July of the 2012. In Barcelona concerts will be held on 17,18 may in the Estadio Olimpico Lluis.
